Jerry Baird, the agency founder, started in the insurance business in 1967 after working in agriculture as a Bookeeper/Controller for a number of prominent farming operations in the Central San Joaquin Valley and norhtern California areas. In 1973, Jerry went on his own and established the Jerry Baird Agency (Incorporated 1990).

Besides the business, Jerry enjoys spending time with his wife Linda, family and friends. His hobbies include Auto Racing, Boating and Traveling.

Jace Baird

In March of 1986 after serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, Jace Baird joined the agency and brought a strong commitment to high standards and ethics that Jerry had instilled over the years. Now a partner in the agency, Jace is dedicated to the needs of the customers, a lot of whom have become good friends. When not at the office, Jace likes to spend time with his wife Lisa, and their three sons Ross, Austin and Conner.

Darla Ferriera

Darla Ferriera joined our agency in 1995 and is our office manager. With 19 years of experience in the insurance industry, she plays a vital role in the operation of our business. When not working, Darla enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing and boating.
 

Nicole Thomas

Nicole Thomas joined our agency in Janurary of 2000, and has brought her experience working for a crop insurance company to our agency and is very competent in the handling of the important data processing and claims reporting. She plays a vital role in servicing our farm clients crop insurance needs.
